Trade Watch by MomentaTrade
Trade Watch translates what is happening one ticker at a time, right now. Signal shows current technical conditions as the price changes. Range shows current Price between Range Low and Range High. Range Low and Range High are calculated boundaries of the current technical Range. They are not observed or predicted session extremes, and Price can move outside them. The black marker with a white outline is current Price. When Price is outside the Range, a glow beside the marker shows its current Signal. Favorable: Stronger conditions for a trade. Caution: Momentum may offer an opportunity, with higher risk. Avoid: Weak conditions for a trade. Color edges can be read as potential support or resistance. A move above an edge may be a breakout; below it, a breakdown. A move back can be a false break. Edges can move, and Price may turn before reaching one. A crossing alone does not confirm a breakout or breakdown. Oversold means Price is below the calculated Range Low; Overbought means Price is above Range High. Both filters apply regardless of Signal. The Momentum marker points right when short-term momentum is rising, uses the same body with no arrowhead when flat, and points left when falling. Its position remains current Price. Range Low and Range High do not select its direction. Signal describes the broader current structure; Momentum describes short-term direction. Favorable with rising Momentum means the two align. Favorable with falling Momentum means short-term direction is weakening while the broader favorable structure still holds. Caution with rising Momentum shows a short-term push higher while the full favorable structure is not yet present. Flat Momentum means movement is within the neutral band, not that Price is standing still. These combinations describe current conditions and leave the decision to the reader.
